Gorgeous poncho! Someone suggested making it into a skirt. I'd have to add a few chains to the neck, but could work. And this would be a gorgeous skirt.
Thanks so much for sharing your talent!~

Hi Earline, I'm glad she enjoys my patterns. I'm afraid I can't help with the problem on the sweater poncho, I don't do well with points. As you can see, most of my ponchos are round and not pointed. Have you tried contacting the designer? That's what I'd suggest. Hope you can get it figured out. Good luck.

Hi Joy Abbott, tell Leah thank you for me. I appreciate the referrals.

I'm sorry you can't see the pictures, I have a few other readers who have the same problem. I think it's something to do with firewalls or some type of virus protector on your pc. Anyway, you might be able to view the picture in my photo albums. Hi Charl, glad you like this poncho, it's one of my favorites. I don't really know how to downsize the pattern, but some people have had luck with using smaller hooks and in some cases smaller yarn (like baby weight). I think if I were going to do this myself, I'd try using a G or H hook and see how that looks. As long as the poncho fits over your child's head and does not hang off her shoulders, it should work out fine.

You can try using shorter chain to begin with, but make sure the number of scs you have at the end of round 9 is divisable by 15.

Leah gave the link for this pattern in CrochetPatterns@yahhogroups.com but although I can see the pattern which I've got to alter the stitches (as I live in the UK) so they make sense to me, I can't see any of the pictures - so I'll have to take Leah's word when she says its beautiful won;t I
