Hi! I was just wondering what size this hat would fit. I want to make it for my 8 yr old daughter and didn't know if I should adjust the hook or yarn size to change the sizing of it. What do you recommend?

Hi Penny. Good to hear from a new crocheter. It's wonderful that you persisted and ended up with a hat you love. Crochet is my therapy also, it relaxes me and takes my mind off most troubles I may have. You're welcome, I'm glad you liked the pattern. Hope you will keep in touch.

Hi Dot! I'm a beginner at crochet, and after about three tries, I finished this cute X's & O's hat. Crochet has become my therapy over the last couple of weeks. Thanks so much for the pattern, this hat was fun to make. Take care.

Thank you, Christine, this is one of my favorites. I'm glad you find my patterns easy to read, too. I'm always concerned about that. I try to make them as easy as possible to follow.

Hi Melodee, I'm glad to know you joined Kaps4Karing, they are a very worthwhile cause. I was very pleased when they asked me if they could post a link to my patterns on their site. I felt very honored to be allowed to contribute in that way. I hope you enjoy the patterns you find here and if you have any questions about the patterns, don't hesitate to contact me. Remember, I'm only a keyboard away.

Hi Judi, no problem. I get names wrong all the time. Sounds like you've been a very busy lady. I'll give you a link to my favorite baby girl outfit. It has mary janes with it and it is just adorable and pretty easy to follow. Anyway, here it is. Have fun with it.

Hi Judi, I'm going to take a chance and guess you just got my name wrong and you are really asking for my help in locating a pattern. The best place to start is Crochet Pattern Central. Here's a link to the site and click on adult hats when you get there. I'm sure you will find something that fits your needs. http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/hats.php

Hi Deb, I was surfing and luckily found you. My husband is a hunter and wants me to crochet him a tightly worked hat to keep his head warm. If you can lead me to a quick easy pattern I'd be very thankful.

I think hats are great Christmas gifts. I just wish I could convince my family that they should wear them. I'll be glad when Photobucket's problems are fixed too. This place looks pretty shabby without the pictures. lol

Well, I didn't get a chance to even put the button for CAL on my page before I was done! lol I'll probably end up doing more in differnt colors, I think some friends might like them for Christmas.

As soon as Photobucket is working again, I'll post the picture :)

You're welcome, Jenn! I'm so glad you love this hat! I like it a bunch myself! I bet it looks fabulous on you. Now, what's to stop you from making more hats for the Phat Hats CAL? Go ahead, you know you want to. lol I'm looking forward to seeing a picture of your hat.

Foxy!!! I was worried about you. Jeez, I'm glad you like the color "I chose" but it's actually the color the camera chose. In real life this hat is light sage green, but on my screen it looks like a bluish gray that someone has called periwinkle. Glad you're back and I'm glad you like tha hat.
