Let me show you what cute, sweet, adorable, Spike did while I was out today.

This is what happens when I leave him alone with my projects. He moved my project from the table next to the bed to the middle of the bed, removed all the paper wrapping, shredded it into tiny little pieces and shook the skein until it was in a pile to his liking. Then he has the nerve to get his chew bone and lay next to his handiwork and act like he hadn't done a thing wrong. He has been in rare form all day today!
The actual project is not harmed, but I don't know how long it'll take me to untangle the yarn. Oh, well, I needed something to keep me busy.

Sorry, no new patterns, I'm still stuck in a NO CROCHET ZONE. I hope I break through soon, but in the mean time, I'm just updating my side section with some links to learning sites and a great pattern site.

It's been so long since I posted anything, I thought I'd just make a short entry to let everyone know I'm still alive and kicking...OK, not kicking, but alive anyway. I seem to be in a creative slump right now so I've been working on UBW hats. I've done 52 now and have a ways to go to meet my goal of 200, but I'm sure I'll make it since I have most of the year left. I just wish I'd get back into designing again. I won an auction on Ebay for a crochet stitch reference book so maybe after it gets here I'll see some new stitches that will inspire me.
Mom is still here with me and she's loving it and so am I. She plans to go back to her home sometime in the early summer. There are a lot of her nephews getting married this summer and she wants to be there for the joint reception the family is planning for them.
OOPS, gotta go! Survivor's on!
