MERRY CHRISTMAS

I finally got my order from Herrschner's yesterday and I was so excited I couldn't wait to open the box and have a look at what I got. It took a lot longer to receive this order this time due to some problem with my order. Apparently they got the order but didn't fill it for some reason. It's like it just got lost on someone's desk. Not complaining because I've always had good service with them before and the customer service people were very nice and got my order filled and sent right away as soon as I contacted them. Or…if you're tired of this project and want to move on, make a chain and attach it
to the larger end like a loop so you can hang it up and use it as a grocery bag
keeper.

CUSTOM FIT
Measure around the leg, just below the knee.
Follow the pattern instructions for the top ribbing and stop when it's 1" shorter than that measurement. Make sure your number of rows in the ribbing is divisible by 8.
Measure the length of the leg from just below the knee to the ankle.
Follow the pattern instructions until the leg is as long as that measurement, end with a row 6.
Follow the instructions for the ankle ribbing.
You will have a leg warmer that will fit the intended leg. Remeber that if you are working from the custom fit measurements your stitch count at the end of rows will be different from what is written in my pattern.

I use a ribbing technique in some of my designs that is hard for some people to understand. Since the project I'm working on right now uses this ribbing, I decided to take pictures of it as I make it. The stitch count in the pictures is just for the project I'm working on now, it will probably be different in any other projects, but the technique is the same. Click the picures to enlarge.
